This two-hour continuing education course fulfills 2 hours of the Nevada State Board of Nursing requirement for cultural competency training. The course provides nurses with the knowledge and skills to deliver safe, respectful and effective care to patients from diverse cultural, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds. Emphasis is placed on fostering inclusivity, improving patient-nurse relationships, and enhancing health outcomes through culturally appropriate nursing care.
