Human Resources Management Certificate

Human resources is a growing field in need of highly trained individuals with diverse skills. Developed as an introduction to the fundamental theories of modern human resources management, these in-depth courses address the core issues facing HR departments today. Hands-on training from Extended Studies helps veteran human resources professionals keep current in a rapidly changing field while providing those new or aspiring to the profession with the skills and knowledge they need to build a successful career.

To earn a certificate in Human Resources Management, a student must successfully complete a total of 10 courses, consisting of five Human Resources Management core courses and five professional development courses approved as electives. Certificates of completion are awarded at the conclusion of each course. Upon completion of the 10 courses, a Certificate in Human Resources Management will be awarded. Please note Supervisory Management core and Human Resources Management core courses may only be applied toward the completion requirements of one certificate program.

*Courses marked with an asterisk have been approved or submitted for HR or business recertification credit hours toward PHR or SPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and PDCs through SHRM. Individuals who register and pay for five Human Resources courses at the same time will receive a 10% discount.
