Painting with Light

This is a combination of plein air and studio painting. Using acrylic paint and (optional watercolor paint) we will sketch in plein air, then develop these sketches into finished compositions. We will touch on color theory and how it affects the impact, perspective and atmosphere of our work. Using various gel mediums, we can explore techniques to enhance variety and depth on the surface of our paintings and broaden our mark-making vocabulary. Sharon has a variety of creative warm-up exercises to encourage a fun new perspective on our painting practice. Artist Website:www.virtuevision.org
