Microsoft Excel® Intermediate

Excel Intermediate is a hands-on class for users ready to work more efficiently with larger sets of data using Excel’s more powerful tools. You’ll learn how to sort and filter information, manage data with Excel Tables, and create clear, professional charts that communicate results effectively.

The class also focuses on working smarter with formulas. You’ll use Defined Names to simplify formulas, apply logical IF functions and confidently retrieve data using VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP. Along the way, you’ll apply conditional formatting to highlight key information and reduce errors, making working in Excel faster and more efficient.

Pre-requisites:
  • Ability to create basic formulas and common functions 
  • Ability to navigate shortcut menus using the right-click on the mouse
  • Understanding of absolute and relative cell references
  • Experience creating charts
