Microsoft Excel Advanced

Think you’re not “advanced enough” for an Advanced Excel class? You might be surprised. If you are comfortable with the basics, you are ready for this course. In this session, you will learn to link formulas across worksheets and workbooks, control data entry with Data Validation, and break down advanced and nested functions step by step. 
 
You also will work with powerful list tools, plus build PivotTables with Slicers, Timelines and PivotCharts that turn large data sets into clear, dynamic insights. You will finish with practical skills and real Excel confidence.
 
Primary topics covered:
  • Using List Tools such as Subtotal, Consolidate and Remove Duplicates
  • Functions for cleaning data
  • Data Validation
  • Linking Formulas Across Worksheets and Workbooks
  • PivotTables and PivotCharts
 Pre-requisites: 
  • Ability to create basic formulas and common functions 
  • Ability to navigate shortcut menus using the right-click on the mouse
  • Understanding of absolute and relative cell references
  • Experience creating charts
