Color: Place + Process

« back to classes page
Drawing inspiration from the Tahoe Basin's light and rich landscape, this ceramic color workshop focuses on translating place into material. Students will work with colored clays, experiment with process-driven design, and explore form through the use of templates and hump molds. By the end of the week, participants will create personal, place-informed ceramic pieces while developing new approaches to working with color in clay. Artist website
