Explore all the components of employee relations and the importance of this area to the overall success of an organization. Learn key elements of constructive performance evaluations, effective complaint management, handling problem employee behaviors, communication, diversity in the workplace and laws affecting personnel policies.

This course may be taken independently or applied toward a 10-course certificate in Human Resources Management offered through Extended Studies.

This course is approved for 6 HR Business/Strategic recertification credit hours for the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and 6 PDCs for the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
