Power Writing for Business (in-person)

Learn the techniques of positive communication with emphasis on “active voice” writing and speaking. During this course, you will learn how to shorten business documents by as much 50% while increasing your writing power through word selection and sentence structure. You’ll work with all forms of business writing from snail mail to email, and even social media. Plus, you’ll master effective resume writing, learn how to deal with internet bots and effectively use site searches to get noticed. Learn techniques for solution-based thinking (crisis management), modeling for problem solving in the workplace and interpersonal communication skills. The emphasis will be on the “science of listening,” along with body language and facial expression.
