« back to classes page
This course provides a general overview of casino security and surveillance operations and their strategic role in maintaining safe, compliant and guest-focused gaming environments. Participants will explore how operational awareness, technology, risk management and ethical practices work together to protect casino assets, employees, and guests.

While all casinos share a commitment to safety and integrity, the structure and regulations governing security and surveillance can vary by jurisdiction. Participants will examine how leadership, communication and technology come together to support effective decision-making, consistent standards and a culture of vigilance across the gaming enterprise.

Weekly online discussions and short-answer reflections allow participants from all casino departments to apply course concepts to their own roles. These discussions will prepare participants to demonstrate their knowledge through a final case-study assignment focused on responding to a realistic casino security scenario.
