ID : 711

« back to classes page
This workshop investigates the relationship between form, function and design in utilitarian pottery. Students will explore the development of lidded containers and pouring vessels -- including pitchers, teapots and ewers -- while considering proportion, balance and surface integration. A cone 10 soda firing is included; participants are encouraged to bring three to five bisque-fired pieces for the kiln, under 10 inches. Artist website: lornameadenpottery.com
