Interrupt with the landscape through color, texture and material exploration. Students will mix and layer various mediums and incorporate organic materials to create richly textured compositions. The workshop will include discussions on the artist's cultural relationship to the land and the Indigenous art history of Great Basin Native Artists, offering deeper context to the development of personal mixed-media work.
