« back to classes page
Do you have what it takes to be a star performer in your profession? Strong performers have intentionally developed their social and emotional intelligence (SEI) competencies, which sets them apart and ahead in their careers. In this interactive course, you will learn what these SEI competencies are, why they are critical to your personal and professional success, and how you can improve these skills quickly and effectively. You will have the opportunity to watch live demos of these competencies and to work with others to practice these skills in preparation for integrating them into your own work settings.

Key Learning Outcomes:
  • Understanding of SEI and its impact on individual and team performance, how it differs from IQ, and how it can be used to inspire staff to reach for excellence
  • Knowledge of the four core SEI competencies, why they are critical to success, and how they can be enhanced each day
  • Leadership tools for integrating SEI into company culture and performance standards
This course has been approved for 6 HR General recertification credit hours for the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and 6 PDCs for the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
