The Media Ready course provides practical, real-world media training for professionals who may only interact with journalists occasionally but need to be prepared when it matters most. Participants learn how media works, how to earn coverage ethically, how to prepare for interviews and how to respond during crisis situations without damaging credibility or trust.

Learning Objectives
Participants will learn to:
  • Understand how journalists think and work
  • Select the appropriate media relations approach for different scenarios
  • Develop clear, credible key messages
  • Navigate interviews calmly and strategically
  • Communicate effectively during crises or sensitive situations
This course has been approved for 3 HR General recertification credit hours for the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and 3 PDCs for the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
