What's the one thing more difficult than recruiting employee talent? Retaining it! In this tight labor market, HR is in the unenviable position of having to figure out how to keep staff from leaving our organizations. Employee loyalty is down. Never before has it been so critical to focus on strategies for keeping good employees. Participants in this class will learn about factors related to the high cost of turnover, review key elements in a retention toolkit, learn about the importance of conducting retention assessments and examine the role that supervisors have in employee retention.
This course will be submitted for 6 HR General recertification credit hours for the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and 6 PDCs for the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
