Reduce! Reuse! Recycle! Create! With imagination, glue and paint, we’ll upcycle everyday trash and recyclables like cardboard, bottle caps, plastic bags, odds-n-ends, old games, magazines and paper scraps into unique crafts and works of art while learning a bit about abstract and mixed media art. We’ll even use a lot of secondhand art supplies from donations and thrift stores. Projects include wall weavings, friendship bracelets, collages, 3-D canvasses, photo frames, sculptures, robots and tie dye. We also will assemble our own junk journals to save scraps, inspiration, ideas and memories from camp and beyond.
